The wood chipper machine is mainly used to produce wood chips of different sizes. The chipper can handle raw materials such as small diameter wood, branches, slats, round wood cores, waste boards, scrap wood, etc. It can also be used to cut non-wood raw materials (such as sugar cane, reeds, moso bamboo, etc.), the chipper has a wide range of application, good quality of cutting wood chips, safe and reliable, and easy to operate and high production efficiency.

As a professional wood chipper manufacturer, Guoyu Machinery intends to provide customers with chippers that produce high quality wood chips with adjustable blades, so that customers can produce different sizes of wood chips according to their specific requirements.
Wood Chipper Machine Applications
In addition to making biomass fuel, wood chipper is also widely used in the production of paper, edible fungus, particle board, sawdust, high density board, fiberboard, etc. As a professional wood chipper manufacturer in China, Guoyu Machinery is committed to providing customers with high quality wood chipper.

Wood Industry in Indonesia

Indonesia is the largest wood product exporter in the world. The country exports a variety of timber products including plywood, pulp, paper, furniture, and handicrafts. However, Indonesia is still not able to fully exploit its wood sector and timber resources. Despite Indonesia’s increase in log production, the country’s contribution to GDP from the wood product and manufacturing sector has been declining over the past few years.
Wood Production in Indonesia
More than 65 percent of Indonesia’s forests can be described as production forests. The state holds approximately 85 percent. Private enterprises and organizations are allowed to manage most of the state-owned production forests. Logging concessions in both natural and industrial forests are the main sources of logs for Indonesia. These upstream industries still rely on logs as their main commodity.
Private sector-run timber plantations in Indonesia produce primarily acacia wood. Public-run timber plantsations, however, produce teakwood or pine wood. Plywood is the most popular export product, followed closely by sawn, industrial roundwood and veneer. Because of its teak and Rattan products, Indonesia is a leader in downstream industries. The country’s wood industry also has one of its largest workforces.
The Challenges of Indonesian Wood Industry
Timber supply chains and furniture producers in Indonesia must prove that the wood they supply has been legally harvested and sourced according to the Timber Legality Assurance Standard and the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance, and Trade timber export license. This permits them to export to the European Union, which is one of the largest markets for Indonesian wood products. These efforts will not be enough to address Indonesia’s illegal logging problem. Timber laundering is still a major issue in Indonesia. This is when illegally sourced woods are mixed with legally harvested wood. Although the government has done an admirable job in encouraging wood producers to obtain FLEGT licenses it is still necessary to enforce more strict laws.
In terms of wooden furniture exports, Indonesia ranks third among ASEAN countries despite its wealth of natural resources. Many foreign furniture manufacturers have moved their operations and facilities to Vietnam due to complex licensing requirements and complicated procedures.
Vietnam’s wood furniture exports in 2021 were 13.32 billion US Dollars. This is significantly more than Indonesia’s timber furniture exports of approximately two billion US dollar. Locals are less attracted to these sectors due to the low wages of forestry and manufacturing workers in Indonesia. Improved technical knowledge and removal of ineffective regulatory obstacles will benefit Indonesia’s wood industry. This will increase the country’s economy while protecting biodiversity.
